Ike’s Construction was the prime contractor on this project for the City of Concord.  Project consisted of the installation of approximately 3,700 lf of 10’ wide Asphalt pathway, 2,800 lf of 10’ wide wooden boardwalk pathway, 50 ft pedestrian steel bridge and a 25 ft x 25 ft outdoor shelter for the purpose of providing recreational activities and trails along rocky river and providing connectivity from the Riverwalk subdivision to the Dog Park at Weddington Rd.  Project included 5,500 sy of geotextile for soil stabilization, 8,700 sy of stabilization matting, 630 tons of asphalt paving, 3,300 tons of ABC stone, 10,000 lf of treated timber piles for boardwalk and pedestrian bridge support, misc. concrete flatwork, concrete curb and storm drainage.
